Mr. Burbank's Plumcot

This direct color photograph print shows Mr. Burbank's plumcot, which, aside from the fact that it is one of the most luscious of fruits, entirely new and different in appearance and flavor, is of great interest because it represents the combination between two species-the plum and the apricot-which up to the time of production, scientists believed could never be made.
