Flowers of the Tecoma
There are more than one hundred species of this genous, natives of temperate, tropical, and subtropical America, and also of Asia and Africa. Owing to the shape of the flowers, they are popularly known as trumpet vines. Some species, however, are upright shrubs or trees. Mr. Burbank has hybridized several of the Tecomas with the Bignonia.
