The Burbank Potato As It Grows
Observe the large even leaves of the Burbank. The abundant and vigorous foliage has a large share, no doubt, in explaining the admirable qualities of the tubers. The leaves, as we know, are the laboratory In which the starch is developed, and the potato without a good top cannot possibly have a good root system. Healthy leaves and healthy tubers are correlatives.
