Odd Uses of Cactus Spines
Here are needles and a fish-hook made of cactus spines; and a piece of leather with a hole in it put together with cactus needles. It is probable that the aborigines made constant use of the cactus spines for such purposes as these; and the modern Mexicans have not altogether forgotten the customs of their primitive forerunners in this regard.
