A Bouquet of Double Shastas
In this variety of selected Shasta, the "petals" have been greatly multiplied, and the inner ones have taken on a fimbriated character that is peculiarly attractive. The flowers have not quite given up the habit of seed production, however; so further development is possible in the course of successive generations.
