The First White Watsonia
The original white Watsonia was found as a "sport" in the midst of beds of Watsonias of ordinary color, in South Africa. The specimen became the pregenitor of an entire race of white Watsonias, so indivual as to be considered by botanists as a distinct variety. Mr. Burbank has of course used the white Watsonias along with the others in his crossbreeding experiments.
